Tender description
Bristol City Council wishes to under take a soft market exercise on Harbour Condition Surveys. BCC are planning condition surveys of assets within the Floating Harbour, Feeder Canal and River Avon. The surveys are required to assess the current condition of these assets and enable a condition rating, based on industry best practise to be established. Assets include retaining walls, dams, weirs, lock gates and swing bridges; the surveys will cover structural, mechanical and electrical elements. BCC would welcome perspective bidders comments to aid development of specification. Perspective bidders are requested to register their interest via ProContract: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=9bf6791f-e458-e811-80eb-005056b64545 and complete soft market testing questions. Please respond to questions by 12:00 noon on Wednesday 30th May to aid development of specification. Soft Market testing exercise to assist with development of specification. It is envisaged an open tender will be run in July. Tender documentation will be issued via ProContract.
