Bracknell Forest Borough Council intend to award block contract(s) for residential care for adults, including people with dementia. Bracknell Forest Borough Council intend to award block contract(s) for residential care for adults, including people with dementia. The location of the care home(s) must be as detailed in II.2.3). The maximum number of providers with block contracts will be 4, with a maximum number of 20 beds. Within the maximum of 20 beds, approximately 4 could be intermediate care beds. Providers must meet the criteria stated in III.1.4); in addition, providers must be financially sound, having a minimum turnover of a least double the contract value. The Council reserves the right to undertake any financial checks that they believe are appropriate. The contracts awarded will be for a minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years.
