The 2.5 Ha site is former industrial land scheduled for housing development. Apart from any wood, plastic, steel or other unsuitable material all arisings are to be retained on site. An adjacent site is available for stockpiling and crushing of material for re-use. After the excavation of all obstacles the site is to be backfilled with screened spoil from within the site and compacted to the intended development level. The site is divided into 12 zones and works are to be undertaken under the supervision of Council consultants, whose role will be to accurately record which zones material is moved from and where it is finally deposited.
