Provider Engagement Event - Fostering to Adopt

Leicestershire County Council Children and Family Services would like to invite Providers who can supply Fostering to Adopt placements to attend an engagement event. The event will be hosted by: Nicci Collins (Head of Service - Fostering, Adoption and CIC Service) and Keith Francis (Interim Service Manager - Fostering, Adoption, Marketing and Recruitment Assessment) Early Permanence is an important part of Leicestershire County Council's Care Placement Strategy, ensuring that more children can be placed with their potential permanent carers on a fostering basis whilst the Local Authority seeks a placement order from the court. Fostering to Adopt Placements are currently sourced through local advertising and recruitment of adopters. The Council would like to seek the views of stakeholders and providers on the future provisions for Fostering to Adopt. The Event will take place on Wednesday, 13 June 2018, 10am-12pm at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 9RA.
