Tender description

This PIN has been published for the purpose of early market engagement only. For the avoidance of doubt, this market engagement exercise implies no commercial commitment and is not a formal tender process. MEHT are undertaking this exercise to inform a formal competitive tender process for the provision of an end to end clinically led pathology service, which is planned to be undertaken early to mid-summer 2018. The Trust will be holding supplier events in mid to late June 2018. Interested Service Providers wishing to attend this event should do so by emailing pathologyproject@meht.nhs.uk please note that places will be on a first come first served basis. A Memorandum of Information and a Market Sounding Questionnaire will be available via the delta portal w/c 18 June. All clarifications and questions must be channeled via pathologyproject@meht.nhs.uk for transparency all questions and answers will be published on the portal unless marked as commercially sensitive. At the time the contract is performed, the services must be delivered in accordance with all the relevant standards and regulatory requirements of the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) specifically ISO15189, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Health Protection Agency (HPA), and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and any other current requirement related to the provision of Pathology services within NHS and NHS Foundation Trust environments.
