Tender description
The Adult Skills and Community Learning (ASCL) service requires a learner records IT system primarily to manage the collection of data required to produce an ILR (Individualised Learner Record) for the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency). The IT system must be an existing commercial off the shelf solution. The ASCL service is aware that software to perform the ILR functions often also has functionality or optional modules for a large number of other purposes. Some of these are provided in Section 5. Suppliers should not, however, be deterred from putting themselves forward if their products do not offer the functionality listed as desirable in Section 5. The Service is keen to test the market in this respect and not necessarily to deliver all the desirable functionality in a single tender. Keywords: Records, Community, Learner, Adult Skills
