Active Leeds is seeking investment from Sport England to increase physical activity levels in three specific geographic communities in Leeds. It is a requirement of this future investment that Leeds undertake an independent review of these three areas in the context of physical activity. Active Leeds feel that they need to be in a better position of understanding local priorities and outcomes and the motivations, behaviours and aspirations of people who live within these communities before any investment. The people within these communities face multiple layers of deprivation and have some of the lowest incomes across the city and indeed across the country
