KMCEGS-084 -Framework Agreement for Rural Highway Verge Mowing and Hedge Cutting

Tender description

1. Tenders are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the “Council”) from Contractors with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of rural highway verge mowing and hedge cutting (the “Works”) as detailed more fully in the Council’s Minimum Specification (see Appendix A –Specification) under a framework agreement (the “Framework Agreement”) – See contract particulars). 2. The Framework Agreement will initially run for a period of two (1) year, with the provision to extend the framework by up to a maximum of one (1) further twelve (12) month period. It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement is due to commence on the 1 July 2018 and will expire on 30 June 2019, with the option for the Council to extend for a 12 month period up to 30 June 2020.
