Renfrewshire Council is currently undertaking a range of major strategic initiatives, 1 such initiative is the purchase of a Realtime Mobile Application / Platform. Renfrewshire Council are seeking a suitable supplier to facitilate and provide this service and solution. Renfrewshire Council currently has over 100 operatives who use a real time mobile solution including software and devices which enable the delivery of a repairs and planned maintenance service for Council house tenants and public buildings. Renfrewshire Council is currently undertaking a range of major strategic initiatives, 1 such initiative is the purchase of a Realtime Mobile Application / Platform. Renfrewshire Council are seeking a suitable supplier to facilitate and provide this service and solution. Renfrewshire Council currently has over 100 operatives who use a real time mobile solution including software and devices which enable the delivery of a repairs and planned maintenance service for Council house tenants and public buildings. The technology used to deliver this service is end of life and the Council is looking for a replacement that provides the same functionality but enhanced to allow use of the mobile working across a range of Council Services. This will allow the council to leverage greater efficiency gains and service improvements. The Council’s ICT strategy is underpinned by a desire to work better with service leads such that the opportunities for service efficiency and improvement presented by technology can be maximised. This tender is for the provision of a mobile application for the repairs service that can integrate with Servitor Mobile Gateway. The tenderer may wish to provide details of a Mobile Platform as an optional item. The Council’s ICT strategy is underpinned by a desire to work better with service leads such that the opportunities for service efficiency and improvement presented by technology can be maximised. It is essential that the Council’s approach to ICT continues to become more structured, strategic and corporate.
