CTP906 Provision of Technical Consultancy for Waste and Recycling Services

Derbyshire Dales District Council is seeking advisory support and a technical consultancy service, for the procurement of its waste collection and recycling services. To successfully deliver the requirements of the contract the consultant will require a knowledge and understanding of: • the Derbyshire Dales District, or similar sparsely populated rural district council • the current service • the future service options • the waste management market The requirements of the contract will include: Reviewing possible delivery models, taking into consideration the challenges of the current market and those associated with the rural nature of the area. Assisting the Council in the procurement of a new waste collection and recycling service to commence in August 2020, that maintains a high quality service, delivers value for money to Derbyshire Dales residents and offers the opportunity for online self-service and payment for Derbyshire Dales residents.
