Children's Social Care Residential and SEN Placements

Bracknell Forest Council intend to award placements for children's residential care and for Special Educational Needs (SEN) school places during the 24 months from 1st April 2016. The selection of providers is based on quality and cost criteria but also in most cases responding to urgent and changing requirements and to client's right of choice. This procurement process is being completed under the "Light Touch Regime", governing "Social and Other Specific Services" detailed in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Please note that contracts will be awarded without any further publication and that no further publication will be placed on the Tenders Electronic Daily website (OJEU) after this PIN. As a minimum, providers will need to have a current Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding, or equivalent.
