Tender description

Doncaster Borough Council (the Council) wishes to invite potential contractors to express an interest in the provision of school improvement services. Over the last 2 years the Local Authority has facilitated the development of services to run a school improvement programme for all maintained primary and special schools and the 2 Local Authority maintained pupil referral units: Levett School and Maple Medical Centre. With the changing educational landscape and the increase in the number of academies, it is essential that the reach of this programme is extended to include these non-maintained schools to enable all of these schools to benefit from a rigorous but supportive school improvement programme to challenge underachievement and promote excellence in all Doncaster schools through a coordinated School Improvement Strategy working in partnership with Council to develop a self sustaining model by 2019.
