Northern Gas Networks is seeking expressions of interest from the market for a single supplier to provide all of the following:-. Lot 1 – Purchase and service/maintenance. Lot 2 – Long-term hire and service/maintenance. Lot 3 – Short-term hire and service/maintenance. Contract award will be based on the most economically advantageous tender. There are no minimum or maximum numbers of suppliers who can apply per lot but Northern Gas Networks are looking to appoint one single supplier for all lots. Northern Gas Networks is seeking expressions of interest from the market for a single supplier to provide whole fleet management and provide a single point of contact for the organisation/delivery/collection of the units, including storage (when not in use) & waste disposal services for the following provisions:-. Lot 1 – Purchase and service/maintenance. Purchase, with a service/maintenance plan for circa 20 self-contained towable welfare cabins, suitable for up to seven and ten persons, which are to be used onsite for construction operatives. Each welfare cabin must include the following provisions:-. — Low fuel consumption instant welfare HSE compliant for 7 or 10 people, — Anti-Vandal, safe and secure with ‘kneel down’ axle system, — Fully retractable drawbar (no trip hazard), — Fully equipped canteen area with cooking facilities, — Drying room – a separate facility for drying and changing clothing, — Low water use (non-chemical) WC using recycled water from washing, — Hot and cold running water, — PIR activated 12v LED lighting, — Separate Office with mains and 240v power, — Self-contained with no mains connections. Lot 2 – Long-term hire and service/maintenance. Long-term hire with a service/maintenance plan for circa 42 self-contained towable welfare cabins, suitable for up to seven and ten persons, which are to be used onsite for construction operatives. Each hired welfare van must include the following provisions:-. — VOSA type approved, HSE complaint, — Messing unit housing all electricity auxiliary components with sink and microwave, — Hot and cold water (700 Watt, 12v water heater), — Cabin heater, — Interior LED lighting to mess area, — Separate toilet/WC with cassette and electric flush and wash facility, — Full chapter 8 livery, — Hard wearing anti-slip flooring. Short-term hire with a service/maintenance plan for self-contained towable welfare cabins, suitable for up to seven and ten persons, which are to be used onsite for construction operatives. Each welfare cabin must include the following provisions:-. — Low fuel consumption instant welfare HSE compliant for 7 or 10 people, — Anti-Vandal, safe and secure with ‘kneel down’ axle system, — Fully retractable drawbar (no trip hazard), — Fully equipped canteen area with cooking facilities, — Drying room – a separate facility for drying and changing clothing, — Low water use (non-chemical) WC using recycled water from washing, — Hot and cold running water, — PIR activated 12v LED lighting, — Separate Office with mains and 240v power, — Self-contained with no mains connections.
