The provision of shop fitting services across various English Heritage sites - AWARD

Tender description

English Heritage is responsible for the preservation and presentation of around 400 historic properties throughout England. A number of these sites have shops and as such may require a company to manufacture, deliver and install custom built shop fittings. There may also be the requirement for smaller scale replacement or repairs of current shops and or fittings. The number of sites which have shops is more than 100 but please note these may not require updating or replacing during the life of this contract. The basic shop furniture is common throughout installations, and is constructed to a set of standard drawings using standard materials and finishes, please see attached Appendix A to this scope. From time to time English Heritage undertakes one-off installations which either requires design adaptation of the standard furniture, or entirely new designs. These could be where a new visitor centre has been built or a refurbishment has taken place.
