Supply of Batteries and Associated Items

Tender description

Team Leidos has a requirement for the supply of a range of Batteries and associated Items and intends to invite tenders for its MOD Batteries supply with a view to awarding a 4 year Framework (3 Years + 1 Option Year.) The range will be split into 4 No lots and covers a wide range of chemistries including: Alkaline Manganese, Lead Acid, Lithium Carbon Monofluoride, Lithium Iron Disulphide, Lithium Manganese Dioxide, Lithium Thionyl Chloride, Lithium Sulphur Dioxide, Magnesium Silver Chloride, Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hydride, Silver Oxide, Zinc Air and Zinc Carbon/Zinc Chloride. There will be an option to extend the Contract for a period of 1 Year from 01.9.2020. The option will be entirely at the discretion of the Leidos, and will be dependent upon the Supplier's performance and Leidos' requirement. Should the option year (01.9.2020 to 31.7.2021) be taken up, the Supplier shall be advised and prices for this period shall be offered/agreed no less than 3 months before the end of the contracted period.
