Clare County Council requires a corporate web based mapping and data capture solution that will provide a long term fit for Clare County Council. The following sections specify the requirements and specifications of Clare County Council for a web based mapping and data capture solution. The proposed system should • Be robust, intuitive and user friendly • Be easily configurable, customisable and extendable • Be compatible with the latest versions of the popular browsers • Be able to configure and consume web services directly from third party organisations • Include mobile mapping functionality to meet a growing demand to allow for data capture in the field. • Have digitisation functionality which will allow users to capture data using a web interface and configurable forms • Have the ability to present hundreds of scanned geo-referenced planning application maps and allow reordering and querying of such images This contract was awarded to ESRI Ireland, Block B, Second Floor, Ashtown Gate, Navan Road, Dublin
