Tender description

Jisc Services Ltd (JSL) wishes to enter into a contract for the sourcing and subsequent licensing of marine data; the marine data will be ingested into the Jisc Geospatial platform as a service provided to the Jisc community by Jisc Collections https://www.jisc-collections.ac.uk/. In November 2017 a contract was awarded to Airbus Space and Defence Limited following a procurement process to create and manage a geospatial platform. The platform operates in such a way that various sources of geospatial data is ingested (uploaded) into the portal and handled in such a way to make it easily accessible and usable by the Jisc Community. Marine data is one specific data set out of the five offered by Jisc Collections. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years in annual increments. Keywords: Source, Data, Licence, Marine
