Self Care Prevention Programme, Training Development Project

Tender description

To develop and deliver a 'change' training package that includes a series of multi-agency/audience training sessions. The purpose of the training package will be educating and supporting health and care professionals, employer representatives, practitioners of and people in receipt of health and social care services; to provide them with the skills to promote and engage in collaborative consultations with patients, professionals and communities on self care issues. Once delivered to the workforce of health and social care professionals they will be up-skilled in techniques that empower people to take greater control of their health and wellbeing and people as potential or actual recipients of health and social care will be more aware of their role in managing the care that they receive.
