The University of Cambridge, Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute is a world-leading centre for research in developmental biology, with purpose-built laboratories and state-of-the art facilities and equipment. 1.2. The Gurdon Institute currently operates 5 medium/large capacity laboratory steam sterilisation autoclaves, which are now approx. 14 years old. 2 are located on the media kitchen and 3 are located in the basement. 1.1.
