Repair and maintenance services of medical and precision equipment

Tender description

Original Equipment Manufacturer 3 year fully comprehensive optime maintenance and software upgrade contract from 01/12/2017 to 30/11/2020 for all 98 pieces of Zeiss equipment which includes: — HFA 740i, — IOLMaster 500, — Lumera 700, Oct Visante, — Opmi Lumera (+assistant), — HFA 745i, — HFA3 860, — Cirrus 5000, — Cirrus photo 600, — Oct 5000 Angio, and, — HFA3 860's with Tables. Direct Award for fully comprehensive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the provision of maintenance, repair, software upgrades and equipment management of equipment shown above. Zeiss do not train 3rd party technicians, maintenance providers or provide access for system upgrades. All OEM parts are used for repairs and maintenance. They do not sell/provide test tooling kits or software diagnostic tools to 3rd party suppliers. Zeiss engineers have accredited knowledge to fully fault find, repair and calibrate devices following a repair or service. Passwords are not supplied to enable access to device service menus by 3rd party suppliers. Software upgrades are continually developed, released and installed by a trained engineer when completing a repair, calibration or routine service or completed by Zeiss remote device support. Zeiss also provide remote diagnostic and support via a dedicated technical help-desk for all their installations.
