Tender description
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and North Warwickshire Borough Council, are seeking to maximise recycling material processing from household kerbside collections. To facilitate this, the above named authorities are seeking to procure the services of 1 or more, materials recovery facilities (MRF). The requirement has been separated into 3 lots: — lot 1: Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council Only (see Appendix 1), — lot 2: North Warwickshire Borough Council Only (see Appendix 2), — lot 3: Combined Lot for BOTH Councils (see Appendix 3). Therefore a single provider may be awarded Lot 3, or the Lots 1 and 2 may be awarded to different providers. Whichever lot(s) are awarded, the contractor(s) will be required to enter into a separate contract with each council. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is seeking a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) services provider which can provide one or both of the following materials processing services. (Providers have the option to bid for either/both type(s) of material delivery, however only one option will potentially be awarded). Option A: Dual stream service — Comingled material, with paper and cardboard separated. Option B: Fully comingled material. Full details of the services required and how options are assessed are provided in the ITT documents. North Warwickshire Borough Council is seeking a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) services provider which can provide one or both of the following materials processing services. (Providers have the option to bid for either/both type(s) of material delivery, although only one option shall be awarded). Option A: NBBC and NWBC Dual stream service — Comingled material, with paper and cardboard separated. Option B: NBBC and NWBC all Fully comingled material. Full details of the services required and how options are assessed are provided in the ITT documents.
