PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE - PATHWAY 3 SERVICE IN LLR

This is a prior information notice with future call for competition and its purpose is to make the market aware of the CCGs' commissioning intentions and give providers an opportunity to register their interest. Leicestershire and Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG's - the Commissioners) are considering the re-procurement of a Pathway 3 bed based step down services to provide assessment and reablement services. Reablement, in line with national directives, plays a significant role in the planning programmes for the 3 Local Authorities (Leicester City, Leicestershire County and Rutland County councils) and the 3 Leicestershire CCGs; East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG, West Leicestershire CCG and Leicester City CCG. The Commissioners are planning to undertake three procurement exercises to commission: - A local framework - for provision of up to 17 beds for assessment and reablement services o Contract length - 3 years - An open procurement for provision of an assessment, reablement & rehab therapy service across 31 beds (17 framework assessment and reablement beds and 14 block purchased reablement beds) o Contract length - 3 years - An open procurement for provision of 14 reablement beds o Contract length - 3 years The service will be commissioned via the procurement processes outlined above which will be advertised to all providers and which are proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract.
