Tender description
Barnsley Council will imminently be seeking a provider to operate a town centre scooter access service, formally Shopmobility. We will be seeking a new provision which reflects current demand levels, and can deliver an innovative service model which does not rely on the use of a dedicated retail outlet. We will also be exploring how the provision can develop to serve the needs of those unable to use powered scooters, but who have needs which limit their access to town centre facilities.
