Provision of Small Plant - 5 items of small plant require redesign and/or refurbishment to meet UK and EU standards. Please highlight clearly in your response the relevant Lots you have an interest. — NR Lot 1: Manually Propelled Rail Trolleys. — NR Lot 2: Rail Bourne Rail Handlers. — NR Lot 3: Torque Wrenches. — NR Lot 4: Sleeper Drills. — NR Lot 5: Rail Drills. Manually Propelled Rail Trolley: There is a requirement for improved design, increased durability, improved ergonomics, braking issues to be overcome and improved weather resistance. Network Rail is looking to replace the fleet. Current requirements circa +1000 units. Network Rail current fleet of Rail Mounted Rail Handlers (Ironmen): There is a requirement for improved design, increased durability, improved ergonomics, with braking and handling issues to be overcome. Network Rail is looking to redesign and replace the fleet of circa +450 units. Network Rails current fleet of Torque Wrenches omit currently double the level of HAV's omissions permitted under the current regulations. The machines are heavy and contravene current manual handling regulations there is a requirement for a Battery driven solution. Network Rail is looking to redesign and replace +900 units. Network Rail is looking to update the current design of its Sleeper Drills to incorporate battery technology and its benefits. Network Rail is looking to redesign and replace +330 units. Network Rail is looking to replace its aging fleet Rail Drills. There is a requirement to update and incorporate battery power and improved technology and design. Network Rail is looking to replace +790 units.
