APUC Ltd is seeking to appoint contractors to service the following: — Commercial business, — Property and estates, — People / HR matters, — Charity, — Internationally taken to mean ‘UK/EU-based organisations working internationally’, — One-stop-shop. Commercial business. The following technical expertise, listed below but not limited to, in the relevant jurisdiction: - EU purchasing and other contract law. - Debt collection. - Commercial corporate governance. - Joint ventures. - Shared services. - Banking, finance and insurance. - Company formation. - Corporate finance, - Bond Issuance, mergers and acquisitions. - Taxation. - Academic research (including grants) and research originated knowledge transfer. - Competition law. - Anti-slavery. - Intellectual property. Property and estates covering but not limited to: - Conveyancing. - Landlord and tenant law. - General estate management issues. - Planning law. - Major building projects. - Student accommodation. - Construction and engineering. - Environmental law. People / HR matters including but not limited to: - Employment dispute resolution including tribunals. - Employment relations. - Employment contracts and policies. - UK Visas and immigration matters. - Equality and diversity. - Organisational change. - Health and safety. - TUPE. - Pension law and advice. - Student support and regulatory matters. - Data protection. - Freedom of information. - Fair working practices. Charity including but not limited to: - Charity law. - Fundraising and sponsorship. - Constitutional and parliamentary issues (including bulls, charters and statutes). - Charity corporate governance. International Taken to mean ‘UK/EU-based organisations working Internationally’: - Public International Law. - Law of the Sea. - International Criminal Law. - International ventures. - International Humanitarian Law. - International Human Rights Law. - Refugee Law. - Private International Law. - Supranational Law. One-stop-shop. The scope of expertise requested includes the foregoing descriptions under general commercial, property, people matters, charity and international.
