Tender description

Queen’s requires an Economic Operator or Operators to provide a laundry and linen hire service primarily to Queen’s Accommodation and Campus Food and Drink. These services will also be available to Queen’s Schools and Directorates. Queen’s Accommodation provides purpose-built student accommodation and operates 2249 bed spaces (increasing to 3486 in 2018), of which 1897 are based in Elms Village, Malone Road, Belfast. Queen’s University will be opening a further 1237 rooms in September 2018, at College Avenue (747 rooms) and McClintock Street (490 rooms). Campus Food and Drink provide catering and hospitality across Queen’s Campus to Queen’s Schools and Directorates and host various functions including conferences, banquets, weddings and graduations etc, based at the Great Hall and Riddel Hall. Tenders are therefore invited for the Supply of Linen Hire and Laundry Service. The specification of requirements in respect of this contract is within the tender documentation as QUB167118 Annex A ITT - Specification.
