Tender description

The objectives of this procurement are to: — establish and provide an Independent Guardian Service for separated children including those who are victims or potential victims of human trafficking, — recruit, support, train and supervise independent guardians to ensure that they are competent in fulfilling the functions of the Independent Guardian set out in Section 21 (7) of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Criminal Justice and Support for Victims) Act (Northern Ireland) 2015, — develop written policies and procedures to define the service’s operational and delivery arrangements, — provide specialist knowledge, advice, and support to assist other agencies to take effective decision and actions to safeguard and promote the welfare of a child victim or potential victim of human trafficking, — lead on a promotion of the service including awareness raising and profiling of the service across all relevant agencies and organizations, and, — deliver information bulletins about the service as agreed.
