Closed-circuit surveillance system

Tender description

Conwy County Borough Council wish to appoint a suitable supplier(s) to maintain the CCTV system, relocate the control room and upgrade to HD cameras. The term of the contract period will be for 3 years with an option for the authority to extend for a further period of up to 2 years. Lot 1 – Control Room Maintenance and Re-location; Lot 2 – Camera Maintenance; Lot 3 – Camera Replacement, CCTV IP Network and Maintenance. Conwy County Borough Council wish to: 1) Take out a maintenance contract for the control room equipment; 2) Relocate the control room equipment to the new council offices in Colwyn Bay. Conwy County Borough Council wish to: 1) Take out a maintenance contract for the cameras and transmission to the control room. Conwy County Borough Council wish to: 1) Replace existing analogue CCTV cameras with new high definition (HD) cameras; 2) Replace the current analogue transmission system (using BT RS1000 analogue fibre and MSI analogue fibre) with a new digital transmission system to support HD IP cameras (and lowering running costs); 3) Take out a maintenance contract on the new cameras and transmission system.
