Cliffdale Primary Academy - Relocation of Modular Classrooms

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council, 'the Authority', is inviting tenders from suitably qualified modular building contractors for the relocation of two modular buildings located on Cliffdale Primary Academy site. The scope of works encompasses relocation of the existing modular buildings, including preparation, dismantling and temporary support of the modules, foundations, below ground drainage, service connections and associated landscaping around the buildings. The Authority is working to a target contract award date of 5th February 2018 and enabling works commencing 5th March. The relocation of the buildings must be completed during the school Easter holidays (30th March - 15th April 2018) and fully completed by no later than 11th April to allow occupation prior to the schools return. The estimated value of the contract is approximately £200,000. The form of contract used will be the JCT Minor Works Building Contract with Contractor's Design 2016 (MWD). Set out below is the procurement timetable. 1. Invitation to Tender released via Intend - 7th December 2017 2. Operational site tours - (at request of tenderer) - Between 11th December 2017 and 4th January 2018 (school closed for holidays 23rd December until 1st January inclusively) 3. Deadline for requests for clarification - 5th January 2018 at 11:00 4. Tender return deadline - 16th January 2018 at 14:00 5. Tender interviews (if required) - 23rd January 2018 6. Contract Award - 5th February 2018 7. On site enablement - 5th March 2018
