Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) NHS West Hampshire CCG

Tender description

NHS West Hampshire CCG (Contracting Authority) will be running a procurement for two Urgent Treatment Centres, preferably to be provided at Andover War Memorial Hospital and Lymington New Forest Hospital. These services are an evolution of the current service provided at the respective Minor Injuries Units, and is based on a nationally mandated set of requirements that are detailed in the Urgent Treatment Centres - Principles and Standards, published in July 2017. The two UTCs will be procured in 2 lots. The first will be for Andover and the second will be for Lymington and the New Forest. The preferred locations for these services are Andover War Memorial Hospital and Lymington New Forest Hospital. However, these locations will be confirmed at ITT stage. The second lot for Lymington will also include a satellite Extended and Urgent Primary Care Service (EUPCS) (only) hub based in the Avon Valley locality. The satellite hub has been lotted with Lymington due to the geographical and local working arrangements. The value is for the 5 years (3+2) for both Lots and indicative only.
