Training and Consultation around Restorative Practice

Southend Borough Council (SBC) children's services will be using a Restorative Practice approach to underpin a model of practice for the whole department. It is envisioned that Restorative Practice will also be implemented within partner agencies and other parts of SBC. We are seeking a provider of training and consultation with a track record of working with both Local Authorities and other agencies to deliver the implementation of a Restorative Practice approach. We are particularly interested in commissioning an organisation who has successfully worked with Local Authorities as part of an improvement plan following a regulatory inspection where a judgement of Requires Improvement or Inadequate has been made. This service provided will include the following elements and anticipated volumes: • Training for Tier 3 and 4 managers from across the Department for People of one day • Briefing/overview sessions for senior leaders and elected members of ½ day • In depth training for practitioners from across children's services and partner agencies (3 day training) • Follow up consultation and advice for the senior management team during implementation Numbers of staff Tier 3 and 4 managers - 20-25 Senior Leaders and members - 10 (for the ½ day briefing) Practitioners - 240 - 300 To find out more about this opportunity you must register to SBCs e-tendering portal free of charge.
