Tender description

NRW is seeking to award a contract for the supply of a softwaresolution for the management of data pertaining to Protected Sites. Protected Sites include Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), National Nature Reserves (NNRs), Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), RAMSAR sites, etc. Management of these sites involves all aspects of Feature definition, subdivision of Sites (Unitisation) and the assignment of Actions. The purpose of the requirement is for Natural Resources Wales to be able to migrate data from an unsupported legacy system into a new solution with modern architecture and ongoing support to ensure continued security of data resulting in reduced organisational risk. The location for the delivery of this requirement will be NRW, Maes y Ffynnon Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 2DW. The duration of the contract will be until 4 years from the date of commencement; delivery is required prior to the end of December 2018.
