Repair and maintenance services of boilers

Tender description

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking to appoint contractors for the servicing, repair and maintenance of domestic boilers within its social housing stock. This tender exercise will involve the award of both a contract and framework arrangements. It has been confirmed by the current provider of this service that there may be TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006) implications attached to this tender exercise. Lot 2 is for the gas boiler remedial works element of the tender and the Council will be appointing up to three on a Framework basis. Suppliers will be eligible to bid for Lots 2, 3 and 4 and may be awarded more than 1 of these Lots. Lot 3 is for the oil boiler remedial works element of the tender and the Council will be appointing up to three on a Framework basis. Suppliers will be eligible to bid for Lots 2, 3 and 4 and may be awarded more than 1 of these Lots. Lot 4 is for the solid fuel boiler remedial works element of the tender and the Council will be appointing up to three on a Framework basis. Suppliers will be eligible to bid for Lots 2, 3 and 4 and may be awarded more than 1 of these Lots. Lot 1 is for the servicing and responsive remedial works (up to 250 GBP) element of the tender and the Council will be appointing 1 contractor only for this Lot. Suppliers may bid for Lot 1 and Lots 2, 3 and 4 (Planned Remedial Works). However, the successful tenderer for Lot 1 will not be awarded any of the other Lots.
