Tender description

The University of Manchester (GEIC) has acquired a new injection moulding machine (Lot 1) and moulds (lot 2) for the production of test specimens of predetermined shape for a number of polymer nano-composites based on graphene and other 2D materials. The polymeric matrices will be thermoplastics or thermoplastic elastomers. The composites will be filled with graphene related materials but may also include other reinforcement such as carbon fibres or glass fibres. This system will be used for both academic and industrial research and development and quality control etc. Please refer to procurement documents.
