Tender description

Provision and ongoing support of primary and secondary internet services complete with on-site routing infrastructure (3 year contract): Primary- 1gb leased line Secondary- 200mb leased line The service should be configured as fully redundant and derived from separate POP’s and providers, failure of either the primary or secondary services should not impact connectivity to the School. The latency for the transition to be <1ms. Fibre access into the school is via a single dedicated duct, one service to terminate on the ground floor telecoms room (Level 1) and the second service to terminate in the server room on Level 4. Both locations are already internally connected via fibre links which can be utilised for the purpose of interconnecting the two services into the provided core router. A public IP range should be provided with 30 usable host addresses. Evidence to be provided on the resiliency of the links. Service to be in place by September.
