Tender description

The tender relates to the provision of a family support including transition supports for children with a disability service. The HSCB plan to appoint 1 organisation to provide the service. The objectives of this procurement are to provide: 1) short break services to children with a disability including those transitioning into adult services (up to age 21), 2) personal development programmes with mentoring support to children with a disability who are in the process of transitioning from children’s services (with particular emphasis for those aged 16 to 21 years), 3) disability awareness training to those organisations to which a young person is transitioning in respect of their particular need, 4) a support and link with the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership (CYPSP); Children with disability regional group to inform the strategic planning of this group, 5) a model of partnership working with statutory and non-statutory bodies.
