Tender description

Contract for the provision of grounds maintenance to a supplier(s) to maintain its assets on operational sites, including Above Ground Installation Sites (AGIs), within its networks. The main objectives of any contract awarded will be: — to ensure that pressure reduction sites remain free from hazards, obstructions or any overgrowth of vegetation, facilitating access to and maintenance of Cadent assets, — to establish consistent and effective delivery of grounds maintenance provisions, — to deliver efficiencies and process improvements in the ways of working throughout the duration of the contract, — to meet all applicable legal, policy and ethical objectives. — Deliver a scheduled grounds maintenance service to individual Cadent sites including grass cutting, weed control & hedge trimming to an agreed standard, — deliver ad-hoc activities as required, including tree cutting, planting and pipeline clearance, — provide evidence of completed works and progress against schedules, — allow for individual Cadent sites to call off services for non-scheduled works, — during the first year, conduct site visits and document site conditions, validating meterage and service requirements and identify areas that require additional works to bring the site condition up to an agreed Cadent standard, — provide Cadent access to an online portal for the duration of the contract that documents site visits, audits and standard reporting, — undertake on-site audits, — produce a full set of monthly Management Information (MI) documents detailing progress and performance
