Essex County Council is recommissioning its Individual Packages of Educational Support Services to enable the authority to meet its statutory responsibilities to provide suitable education for children of compulsory school age, who due to exclusion or otherwise are unable to attend mainstream school. All interested parties are invited to attend an engagement event at County Hall Chelmsford CM1 1QH on the 21.6.2018 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. The event intends to set out the scope of the services required and provide an overview of the procurement process. Essex County Council is seeking to establish a multi provider framework under the light touch regime, to deliver Individual Packages of Educational Support for those pupils of compulsory school age who for reason of exclusion or otherwise would not receive a suitable education without such arrangements. Prospective candidates are advised that schools and academies within the administrative boundaries of Essex Council will have the option to commission services under this framework agreement via an access agreement.
