Bath Quays South & Bath Quays Bridge NEC Supervisors Service

Tender description

The Council is seeking to appoint an organisation to act as Supervisor in relation to the delivery of two separate construction contracts each using the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract form:- Bath Quays South Advance Works - A £5m enabling works contract for a riverside mixed-use development, including site clearance, ecological and archaeological mitigation works, demolition works, drainage works, the construction of a piled foundation for a new office building, a sheetpiled flood defence wall and piled reinforced concrete substructure for a new pedestrian/cycle bridge, (Bath Quays Bridge). Bath Quays Bridge superstructure - The fabrication, assembly and installation of a steel superstructure for the 60m span pedestrian/cycle bridge. The organisation will also be required to act as Works Examiner (in compliance with the Design Manual for Broads and Bridges document BD2/12 - Technical Approval of Highway Structures) in relation to the bridge works.
