Annual Amendment to the MCHW 18/19

Tender description

The Highways England (HE) requires a contract for provision of the service of amending, updating and improving the Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) Volumes 0-6. The tasks include: Taking account of technical changes arising from research and/or feedback and the introduction of new or amended British, European and other technical standards and approvals. Incorporation of amendments arising as a result of the review of the DMRB project (FutureDMRB) Collaboration with the supplier tasked with delivering the Future MCHW project, projected to start in financial year mid 18/19, and the move of the MCHW to the collaborative software package (CARS). Ensuring that any necessary changes arising as a result of the withdrawal of the UK from Europe are identified, drafted and incorporated into the MCHW in a timely manner
