This is a market information exercise and may not necessarily lead to any future procurement process. In the event that it did proceed, it is not yet certain which procurement route would be followed. Suppliers will be neither advantaged nor disadvantaged by responding to the PIN. Hampshire County Council is carrying out a market engagement exercise to understand the EPOS market. Suppliers are invited to attend a Supplier Information Day on 8th June commencing at 2:00 pm, at the Winchester Discovery Centre, Jewry St, Winchester SO23 8SB. Please note 1pm check-in time, so suppliers can set up their stall and equipment to demo. Drop off and parking arrangements will be confirmed on sign up. The event should finish at around 4:00 pm. This is an opportunity to have one to one conversations between suppliers and the service users. Suppliers are asked to bring samples of products to demonstrate and information on the functionality of the products. Hampshire is in the top ten of the largest counties by land area, with a population of 1 320 000. Each year Hampshire is visited by 4 500 000 staying visitors and a further 52 000 000 day visitors. The County Council provides a mix of services to its residents and visitors including, Archives and Records service, 48 libraries and Discovery Centre's, over 80 countryside sites including; 5 major Country Parks, Outdoor Centres providing leisure activities, plus other visitor attractions. Responses to the supplier day will not be used to evaluate your company, create a short-list or guarantee inclusion or exclusion in any resulting tender exercise. This exercise is to obtain feedback to inform any potential future tender process only, which will require further registration and appropriate assessment. Our service representatives, IT and transaction officers will be attending to explore the range of EPOS solutions available to support their business needs. This is a market information gathering exercise to aid us in developing our requirements to lead to a full OJEU procurement process that will establish an EPOS framework to meet the needs of multiple services in Hampshire County Council. We are looking for an EPOS solution to include all hardware and software. The solution must cover a range of payment methods (e.g. contactless, cash, online, gift cards, vouchers). The solution will need to integrate with or have the capacity to perform a customer loyalty function, generate customisable reports, and undertake stock control, process memberships, process bookings and ability to customise product offers.
