Please follow the guide from page 36 on ‘How to Access Tender Documents through Supplying the South West’ within the attachments section to the right which provides a step-by-step screen shot of how to access the tender documents. Bournemouth Borough Council is looking for a supplier to provide generators, including installing, testing and removal at the Bournemouth Air Festival. The Bournemouth Air Festival is a 4-day event taking place annually over a weekend in August / September. The dates for 2018 will be Thursday 30th August – Sunday 2nd September with dates for futures years being confirmed in the September after the current year’s event. The event is free to the general public and over 1 million people attend ranging from families to aviation enthusiasts. Trading and ground content takes place throughout the day and evening from 10:00 – 22:00 with the core training times being 10:00 – 18:00. The flying displays take place every afternoon ranging from two to four hours and include a mix of military and civilian content. The Night Air programme includes a dusk flying display, fireworks, Royal Navy Beat Retreat and stage entertainment. The main event site is along Bournemouth Promenade and sandy beach stretching 1.5 miles. The event site has a secondary level on the East Overcliff. There is some set up in the Town Centre and Lower Gardens. The supplier is responsible for supplying, installing, testing and removing equipment on site. Keywords: Generators
