Tender description

The council is seeking tender bids to appoint a number of organisations which will operate under a framework agreement in respect of the provision of a range of purchased social care services including: mental health, disability, older people and children affected by disabilities services. The tender contains 3 main categories of support: care and support, day opportunities /employability support and short breaks /respite support. The care and support category also includes a category for technology enabled care and support. Tender lot for the purchase of day opportunities & employability support services in a community setting for the following service user sub groups: — adults with mental health difficulties, — adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and also includes autism spectrum disorders, (Age 16+), — older people (Age 65+), — children affected by disabilities (age 0 - 19). Tender lot for the delivery of a community based short breaks service for the following service user sub Groups: — adults with mental health difficulties, — adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and also includes autism spectrum disorders. (Age 16+), — older people (Age 65+), — children affected by disabilities (age 0 - 19). Community based service delivery location will be flexible for this lot to take account of the fact that Individuals may choose to receive their short break in an area other than Glasgow. Organisations should however be able to demonstrate a Glasgow /local base infrastructure to support this service category. Tender lot for the purchase of day opportunities & employability support services that are building based models of support for the following service user sub groups: — adults with mental health difficulties, — adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and also includes autism spectrum disorders. (Age 16+), — older people (Age 65+), — children affected by disabilities (age 0 - 19). Tender lot for the purchase of building based short breaks (respite) services for the following service user sub groups: — adults with mental health difficulties, — adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and also includes autism spectrum disorders. (Age 16+), — older people (Age 65+), — children affected by disabilities (age 0 - 19). Building base must be within the Glasgow Boundary only. Tender lot for the purchase of care and support services in the community for the following service user sub groups: — adults with mental health difficulties, — adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and also includes autism spectrum disorders. (Age 16+), — older people (Age 65+), — children affected by disabilities (age 0 - 19). Tender lot for the purchase of technology enabled care and support services. organisations who can deliver services via innovative Assistive Technology solutions are welcomed for the following service user sub groups: — adults with mental health difficulties, — adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and also includes autism spectrum disorders. (Age 16+), — older people (Age 65+).
