Tender description

1. The University generates high volumes of confidential waste and are required to ensure appropriate measures are in place destroy all confidential waste. The University of Cambridge is looking to create a Confidential Waste Service Contract for its departments. There are currently 15 sites which use the current contract set out in Appendix A. The contract will allow the option to add new departments to the contract. The University has an Estate of approximately 400 buildings. This service will be available to all buildings that may require the service although they are not obligated to use the service and can withdraw or add to the service at any time. We currently have 15 buildings that will utilise this service. The service required includes: — scheduled / on demand Secure confidential lockable wheelie bins 140 lt and 1 100 lt with delivery slot schedule, — scheduled / on demand Secure shredding bags collection service, — onsite shredding service. 1.
