Summary of the work Undertake Technical and Project Management of delivery of GFA for MODnet installation and Legacy decommissioning, support of MOPNet migration . a) Provide GFA plan for approval within month of Contract start. Thereafter weekly and monthly reports . b) Provide Electrical Safety Testing Co-ordination report for approval weekly and monthly . Specialist role Delivery manager Expected Contract Length Eleven months , with an option to extend for a further eleven months Latest start date Monday 16 April 2018 Maximum Day Rate Maximum day rate including Agency fees is not to exceed £550 ex VAT. Who Speclialist Work With Civilian, Military and Contractors within the Platform Delivery Team of NSoIT (New Style of IT) Base, other areas of ISS and it's suppliers. What Specialists Work On The management of delivery of GFA for MODNet LOAP installation and Legacy Decommissioning across all stakeholders and in support of MODNet migration and decommissioning strategies and plans. Undertake Technical and Project Management functions, including but not limited to : Setting and maintaining appropriate plans and schedules, day to day coordination of electrical safety certification to BS7671, covering survey, test, remediation and ongoing safety management, conflict identification and resolution. Governance and Reporting , Funding, Managing Stakeholders Risks and Issues and Quality Skills & Experience • Strong Project Management skills: ability to work in a self structured , project technical environment across all levels of Business to plan , contract , execute and report delivery. • ReRecent within 3 years and successful technical experience of documenting and undertaking delivery management for electrical safety certification , survey, testing remediation and safety management . Nice to Haves Relevant and recent (within 3 years) and successful experience of planning and delivering customer dependencies for projects to demanding schedules , using innovation. Work Location MOD ISS, Building 405, Spur F2, Westwells Road MOD Corsham Wiltshire SN13 9NR Working Arrangments All tasking will take place from MOD Corsham and the individual will be required for 5 days a week on a working day of 8 hours, to include a 30 minute lunch break, unless otherwise agreed. Day visits may be required to other Ministry of Defence/Suppliers sites. All travel and any overnight visit will only be permitted if permission is sought in advance. The individual will report to the Platform Delivery (Official) Team Leader Security Clearance SC Clearance must be in place prior to the Contract starting due to the Projects the individual is required to work with.
