Tender description

Queens Court Flats consists of a number of both privately-owned and social housing accommodation, located in four (4) low-rise blocks and, has four (4) single passenger lift applications. This project comprises the removal of four (4) Machine-Room-Above passenger lifts and their replacement with Machine-Roomless (MRL) passenger traction lifts to a ‘vandal-resistant’ Cat 1 standard, to BS EN 81-71, in accordance with the detailed requirements of this specification. The lifts are to comply with the requirements of EN 81-20 and 50, for which the structure provides adequate space provision. This proposal is to fit two (2) lifts at one time, in independent blocks.
