Tender description

The Council is seeking a provider for Extra Care Services 24 hours/day, 7 days/week at Brockhill Sheltered Housing Scheme for SCC funded residents. Brockhill comprises 40+ self-contained units. SCC, working with Woking Borough Council (landlord, site manager), has nomination rights on up to 20 units. The delivery of care across 20 units for SCC funded residents is 189 hours/week (Aug 2017). The duration of the Care Services Contract offered is 7 years (3 year term with a maximum of 2 extension periods of up to 2 years for each). The procurement will be conducted under the Light Touch Regime and is subject to limited regulation in accordance with Regs. 74 to 76 PCRs 2015. The Council has designed a process incorporating features of the Restricted Procedure, including shortlisting of a maximum of 10 providers who will be invited to submit bids to be evaluated with a view to awarding a Care Services Contract for this site.
