The primary purpose of this PIN is to inform the market of a prospective opportunity that University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) intends to provide a Private Postnatal Care service within the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing (EGA). This PIN is not a call for competition. This is not a formal request for quotation or formal tender and therefore UCLH are not seeking formal offers at this stage. The primary purpose of this PIN is to inform the market of a prospective opportunity that University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) intends to provide a Private Postnatal Care service within the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing (EGA). The vision is to find a long term partner to invest in a private postnatal care service by improving the environment and infrastructure of an initial 4 rooms within the EGA, with a view to a future expansion to 20 rooms. UCLH would like to invite potential providers to meet with the project team to support the development of the scope, requirements. UCLH are looking for the following: — a partner who brings knowledge and expertise in marketing and managing private postnatal care, — a partner willing to bring investment to the partnership to help refurbish the current private space and pay for the refurbishment and reorganisation of the NHS Maternity wing to allow for expansion of NHS services. UCLH are open to: — discussions around staffing models, — discussions around financial models, — discussions around organisational models. It is expected that this partnership would be in various phases and this will form part of the discussion: — Phase 1: refurbishment of existing 4 amenity rooms for private postnatal care, — Phase 2: expansion of private postnatal care facilities to 20 rooms to support expansion of our NHS service and align with our strategic priorities.
