Tender description

NHS Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset clinical commissioning group sought to appoint the current provider of Adult community health services in the Bristol area for an additional 6 month interim Contract to align with commissioning intentions for the wider population of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. The current provider is Bristol community health. The appointment of an interim Contract will allow commissioners to undertake a full re-commissioning process to establish a provider for the 1.4.2020. The interim contract will run from the 30.9.2019 to the 31.3.2020 at an estimated value of 21 500 000. NHS Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group sought to appoint the current provider of Adult Community Health Services in the Bristol area for an additional 6 month interim contract to align with commissioning intentions for the wider population of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. The 6 month interim Contract as a direct award will allow consistency for staff and patients as it negates the risk of transferring to 2 providers within 6 months. The appointment of an interim contract will allow commissioners sufficient time to undertake a full re-commissioning process to establish a provider for 1.4.2020. The interim Contract will run from the 30.9.2019 to the 31.3.2020 at an estimated value of 21 500 000.
