Tender description

RFID Kiosks are a key means to deliver our Library services in Gloucestershire. The Council has made a significant commitment to self-service since 2006, with 54 RFID kiosks installed at 30 sites. Current Kiosks do not offer Card payments. We are looking to procurement a number of replacement Kiosks with a range of payment options, including card payment. We have achieved 77% of transactions via RFID in 2016-17 and seen a rise to 82% by Q2 of 2017-18 and we acknowledge there is room to improve this figure and our aim with this tender is achieve at least 90% across all sites within 6 months of the completed installation, aiming to exceed 97% within 1 year.
